The agricultural sector has traditionally been the backbone of the Palestinian economy. Olive oil is abundant in Sinjel, it is a very important source of income for farmers in the village.

 People from Sinjel managed to maintain cultivated lands with field crops, vegetables and fruits (especially grapes and figs) besides raising animals such as goats, sheep and cows.

There is a big number of governmental employees who work inside or outside the town such as teachers, people who work with the different security branches of the Palestinian National Authority, nurses, managers, etc.

We can also find some traders and professionals in Sinjel : masons , carpenters, blacksmiths, taxi drivers and artisans.

Furthermore, Sinjel people working and living abroad send remittances to their families in the village.
